MemberMy Darling Husband bought me a few pieces of jewelry before we were engaged/while we were dating (earrings, a bracelet, ect), but most noteably he bought me a promise ring, which I’ve always worn on my right hand.

Fiance bought me some pieces prior to the e-ring. Namely a key charm at my request that we never got a chain for and was the supersized version of the petite one we had looked at together, a silver ring with a fake green stone in it that I lost for eternity behind my sister’s dresser, and a beautiful claddagh ring that I wore right up until the e-ring came into the picture. The claddagh was my favourite, the other 2 were a little bit off from my taste (not that I wasn’t happy to receive them! And he’ll never know my true opinion because he was so proud of himself!) so I was very pleasantly surprised with the e-ring being perfect for me.

MemberNo option for both, jewelry and ring. I’m lucky, Fiance always loved to give jewelry. Only one ring before the e-ring–for our first Christmas he gave me an emerald/diamond set of a pendant and earrings, then for our first Valentines day that winter he gave me the matching ring. The rest of all the gifts were necklaces, earrings and bracelets.
MemberIf I could have voted for more than one option, I would have chosen both necklace & ring. He’s also bought me an earring and necklace set, but that was after we got engaged.

My husband got me a lovely garnet ring while we were still dating. No one had ever gotten me something like that before and I was quite blown away! I can’t remember now if it was for a holiday/special occassion or not. I wore it a lot until I got my e-ring.

i do kind of wish he would’ve gotten me a promise ring, maybe i wouldn’t need the e-ring quite as much.
MemberMy Fiance knows I love jewelry and loves to spoil me (as much as he can given he does not make much money) – he has bought me a gorgeous little diamond and emerald pinky ring, after he initially bought me another one and I lost it 🙁 He has also bought me a necklace and went halves on my larger diamond studs with me. I’m pretty sure he’s bought me earrings too…
