I will be attending a Dec 5th wedding and first wanted to know if it was appropriate to wear a floral dress to a winter wedding? Second is it ok of the dress is beige with black flowers? I know you are not supposed to wear white or beige to a wedding. Here is the dress I wanted to buy:

I love the dress! It’s so gorgeous! I think it would be fine for a wedding, since it’s not completely beige or white and no one would ever even remotely mistake it for a wedding gown! Since it’s winter, you can also wear it with a black wrap or something, too. It would be ok to wear in the winter, especially because the flowers look so abstract and almost un-flowerish. I’m not sure if it’s not ok to wear florals in the winter, but who cares — if you love the dress, go for it.

Yeah, I think that is totally fine and no one will have a problem with it. It’s not exactly a spring floral, so it’s not like the season is inappropriate, and no one will think of that as a white dress (so no one will think you are trying to steal the bride’s thunder). Great dress!

I like it and unless the bride is a fanatic, she won’t care that the background of your dress is beige! I also love the black tights and huge necklace in the photo!

I like that dress a lot and think it’s perfectly appropriate for a winter wedding.
