Not sure if this will help, but I’m somewhat tan (Asian) and my dress is ivory lace over champagne!

My skin tone could go either way too. My dress has a champagne underlay. I think it all really depends on the cut of the lace. Hope this helps.

@Lily_of_the_valley:  Thanks!! I had some dress doubts but am going back to loving it again 🙂

@pengoala:  Thank you! Can’t wait for it to get here already!

@rcorral:  The champagne underlay is something I never would have picked out by myself but it was the one dress that the bridal consultant suggested for me! It looked meh on the hanger but I liked it a lot more when I put it on. I’m obviously biased but I say go for it and post pics if you do get it 🙂

@chachaD:  Your dress looks awesome on you! So pretty and so unique 🙂

@julezilla:  Thank you. Your dress is beautiful, looks amazing on you and I love that you can really appreciate the shape of the lace.  I hadn’t thought of the champagne underlay either it was suggested by my bridal consultant. I am so glad she did it really did the change the overall effect.
