We were only anounced as a couple, and entered dancing w the bridal party. I dont think announcing parents is expected.

Agreed — I don’t think I have ever been to the wedding where the parents were announced. We are planning on doing announcements with “fun facts” about the wedding party as they dance in, but it’ll be just the bridal party (minus the kids that will be flower girls) and my Fiance and I.

I’ve only been to 3 weddings as an adult and the parents were introuduced at all at 2 of them, grandparents only at one.  I think it’s a personal prefrence if you want to or not.  I think I will because they’re paying for it.

I’ve only been to one wedding where the parents were announced and we’re not planning on doing it. We’re thinking just our bridal party and then us.
