I’m around the same stuff! 5’5″, 180, 36D. Certainly didn’t think the fitted dresses were as flattering

I’m super late on this thread but that gown looked gorg on you! Please share photos of your wedding

They both look great on you, and I would suggest a corset with either one. I like the second dress better because I’m not a huge fan of the mermaid style in general.

I’m taller than you at 5’9″ but 38DD, 205lbs, and have quite a tummy after 2 babies and this is the dress I bought. My plan is to lose about 25-30lbs before my wedding in November.

Just realized this thread is a year old so my comment is irrelevant but I figured I’d say I’m SO glad you got the first one!! It looked so good on you!!

I know this thread is old. But I was looking into the same issue. I’m 5′ 195lbs. Hour glass. Can you please post the final dress wedding picture? I’d love to see how the corset set worked.
I definitely would have chosen the first dress too. You looked beautiful.
The dress I am considering I’d shaped like that.

I’m a size 16 with lower tummy issues and I wore a sheath gown with the help of this bad boy
I tried so many different types of shapewear but I’m telling you, this is a life changer! Your figure is amazing and this would honestly smooth your tummy out in any dress.
Edited: WHOOPS didn’t realize this was so old, but for anyone with the same concerns, check out that shapewear!
