as someone who is in the process of  losing a ton of weight, stay away from the diet pills.  I have never heard of those specifically but they can hurt more than help for sure.

I would make sure you are getting enough water because if you aren’t, your body holds onto the water it has thus having water weight.  I don’t know what your diet looks like but you could cut carbs significantly and get rid of that weight… just keep them low or you’ll gain it back fast

I haven’t heard anything about those pills, but I’ve heard things about green tea and losing weight. Stress can also add belly fat. You could add more fiber to your diet, something like benefiber or go natural and find out foods you like that are high in fiber. You could also drink a cup of hot green tea at night with camomille to destress.

Noooo. Don’t do it.

Just try to keep a balanced diet, watch your portion sizes, and make sure you exercise. 3-4 pounds can even be water weight, so watch the sodium.

I get the whole panic feeling – I’m going through the same, and am trying to find a diet that will help me get my whole eating lifestyle back on track (I used to be much better). But going to extremes might just put you on that up-down cycle which is no fun.. ๐Ÿ™

@pandaboo: I take biotin for my nails and hair (my dermatologist told me to) and it does wonders!  It’s a vitamin you can find anywhere and it is great.  Just make sure you take enough

I take biotin for my hair and nails as well (it was recommended by my hair stylist) and it works wonders!  I’ve noticed results in my nails much quicker than my hair, but they are great.  No side effects for me.

Definitely try biotin instead, and don’t go the diet pill route.  Those are so bad for you.

Have you figured out where you are in your cycle? I always always always feel disgusting and lardy the week before my period, and it’s a conscious effort to remind myself that it’s in my head, not my body.

Don’t do the diet pills! or the green T mega T! I’ve tried many before and always ended up unhappy at the end. Then I switched to the “natural way” and just increased my activity slightly (walking to the grocery store instead of driving etc) and took acai extract (you can get it at whole foods) and it helped immensely with energy and water retention but the natural way!

Good luck I’m sure it’s just a little last minute stress! ๐Ÿ™‚

Don’t do it! Diet pills are horrible for you! They can cause serious side effects such as heart arrhythmias! Just eat healthy and exercise, anything that sounds too easy or good to be true usually is!
