I was team green and I loved it.  I was dyyyyyying to know.   My sister was pregnant too, 4 months behind me and she still managed to know her baby’s gender before I knew mine lol.  She was having a girl and I was 100% sure I was having a girl.  I’d bought boy and girl clothes (all returnable) just to be prepared… but I was so sure it was a girl.

I was wrong.  And I have to tell you it was the most amazing surprise EVER.  I had a moment of disappointment I think just because I was SOOOO sure… but that just made it even more of a true surprise.  People thought I secretly knew the gender because I always called it “her” and “she” … so it really proved it to them too lol

I’;ve been wrong every time.  I was going to be team green with my first but I am a bit of a contol freak nd felt I couldn’t get everything organised without knowing the sex.  I’m sure I could have but it makes it much harder not knowing. Good luck with your choice though! I’m sure it will be an amazing surprise!

I was not team green for either, but I had very vivid dreams that our baby (for 1 and 2) was a girl. I was right both times! If we ever decide to have another child, we will be team green.

Also, congrats!

I am still pregnant but, we officially know it’s a boy now. I just subconsciously knew it was a boy from the beginning. At one of my 1st appts, the dr’s office had me pick a pink or blue baby head to stick to a calendar on my due date. At 1st I grabbed a pink one and then I turned around and put it back for a blue, just thought “Nah, I know better”. Later on I was getting a manicure before we found out and I choose blue nail polish without thinking. We found out that week. It was never a verbal thought I had in my head like “I’m having a boy,” just a sense of knowing.

I suppose there is a 50/50 chance of guessing correctly, but I KNEW with each of my pregnancies whether the baby was a boy or a girl, and I was correct all three times. We didn’t find out the sex of the first, but it didn’t really matter because both Darling Husband and I knew the baby was a boy. We were positive to the point of doing the nursery in blue and buying clothes for boys. With the second, Darling Husband did not want to find out again, but we already knew. I did have it confirmed during a later US that Darling Husband didn’t attend, but I didn’t tell him. Still, he had written his prediction down and he was correct, too (another boy). With my last pregnancy, as soon as I told him he said, “And here’s our girl.” Again, I knew it, too, and we were right. We did have that one confirmed via US.

We were team green and it was the best decision ever!! We were both so certain we were having a boy..I had a feeling from 8 weeks on..low and behold, we have a beautiful, perfect, amazing baby girl! We will be team green for all future pregnancies!

We are team green with our first. It is fun to guess and hear everyone’s guesses. For the first 4 months I felt like it’s a boy. I don’t know if that was because I prefer a boy (obviously happy with either way but girls scare me lol). I am now 25 weeks. We know a few couples expecting who have all found out they are having boys around the same time as us so now I’m second guessing myself. All the gender prediction things point to a girl. Can’t wait to hear the gender!

I’ve been having baby dreams for a few weeks and the baby is alway a girl in them… I am not team green- so we just found out we’re actually having a girl.  The dream thing was true for my mom also.  (they were team green and she knew with me and my siblings from her dreams).  What does your mom say- did she know in advance?

littleeskimo :  I figured once I was settled in a routine of what I know I need for baby and what I could wait to buy if the baby was a boy (we will save our girl stuff again), it would be cool to have the baby’s sex be a surprise for once! I guess mostly just something different 🙂
