We are looking to stay at a resort for 5 days in Belize. We would like to stay within the 3 to 4,000 range. Does anyone have recommendations? We would like to do a lot of activities, and would like it to be on the coast.

I stayed at the mata rocks beach resort. It was a nice resort however I wouldnt stay there again. The beach is not great at all. We did see another resort called “the victoria house” it was absolutely beautiful! Definitey check that out. I’m not sure how much it cost but it definitely looked like something that a celebrity would stay in. Good luck!

I stayed at the Inn at Robert’s Grove several years ago. It is in southern Belize near Placencia and was absolutely wonderful. It is a pretty small resort. We had our own hut, with a living room, bedroom, roof with a jacuzzi and a porch overlooking the ocean. It was fairly secluded and the beach was pretty much your own. They had a couple of pools and hammocks. It was beautiful and the food was very good, and yet it was still affordable, though I can’t recall the price right now. We also had the ability to book day adventures with them and went snorkeling one day and wading through the rainforest another day. They had other options available as well. I recently saw it listed as a best buy in vacations in some travel article. I highly recommend it!

I went to Belize for a week and stayed at Jaguar Reef:
Right on the water, TONS of daily excursions and food is included.
There were several honeymooning couples there as well as one wedding on the beach the week we were there.
Beachfront suites run $320/night in the peak season and they have a bunch of package rates too.

I think this is probably were we will be going. The pricing looks good for the honeymoon package. They ahve a bunch of day activites that look really neat!

I’m a huge fan of the Blacaneaux properties, seriously amazing. Not sure if they fit your price range, but summer is the low season I think.
