My brother just got married at the Bellagio in November 2008.  My family didn’t stay at the hotel itself because of the cost, but I can say that the coordinator seemed to work really hard to make sure that my brother and his wife were happy with the arrangement.

I do not know the financial details of what everything cost, but they got the balcony package overlooking the fountains, along with a smaller ballroom(they only had about 50 guests or so) for the reception.  Her parents are vegetarian, so they created a custom vegetarian menu for all the guests.  The service was very good and the waitstaff attentive.  The hotel itself is gorgeous and huge.

I think it probably is worth the money if you like the idea.  Go for it!

I am getting married at the Bellagio in 39 days! I am doing the tuscany package with the terraza. They actually sent out an email for 25% off room rates at christmas and all of my guests booked rooms for $159. The whole process has been simple. I call with a question and it is answered immediately. I am having my reception at Michael Mina. PM me if you have any questions.

I’m already married but I’m helping my cousin with her wedding planning.

She’s also looking into Bellagio. Do you know what reception options are available and whats the price range? Or is it better to have the ceremony there and then do teh reception elsewhere in Vegas?

Thanks!

the bellagio is a super dreamy hotel.  with the chihuilly glass displays and exotic flower/garden displays and fancy pants artwork.  It would make for a lovely setting.  looks like theres some fabulous rates to be had out there right now.

You can also sign up for the Bellagio mailing list. They (and all the hotels in their network) will email you whenever there’s a discount rate on any of their rooms. I signed up a few weeks ago and I’ve seen tons of deals so far. πŸ™‚
