Anyone know anything about the Belly Belts from Paper Presentation? Here’s a link: belts
I’m thinking of using them for my invites but I don’t understand their sizing. Do they come already “fastened” or do I need to seal them somehow? It looks like they’re all 18″ but that’s too long for a 5×7 invite.
Also, has anyone printed on belly belts/bands or have a resource for this?

I decided to DIY Belly belts. I used Ribbon. I took a thicker ribbon in one weding color and then a thinner ribbon in another wedding color and laid it on top of the thicker one. I then took double sided tape and used it to fasten it on the back of the invite. I placed my response card/envelope under the belt. It holds everything in nicely and it was fairly cheap to do.

@orchid84: Well I really want to use a kraft paper belly band to match the outer envelope. Otherwise the ribbon idea would be perfect.

@mountainbride125: I used ribbon also, but should be easy enough to do paper ones too? We just cut our ribbin lengths, wrapped them around, used a glue dot to hold, then stuck the monogram on with 2 more glue dots. Worked like a hot damn!
You can buy cardstock in Kraft paper at Michaels, and I am sure any craft/paper store. Measure with string or ribbon how long you need, decide on width, and cut…it should be lot cheaper then the premade ones I’d think? So you would print the whole 8.5×11 page, (I am sure there will be a template online somewhere), then cut into strips after.
As far as the measurements go on the premade ones, they likely give you extra length so you can cut to fit, depending on how you want them to attach and what you are wrapping them around.
