I have a major innie belly button. Now that I’m starting to show, I feel like I look fat when you can see the outline of my belly button through my shirts, as opposed to looking pregnant.
Did your belly button pop out or at least get flatter as you got more pregnant?

I think they’re supposed to get shallow or pop out. My belly just did a pop out (not my belly button) a few days ago. It’s not very big but since it’s not past my boobs yet I look like I just had a big Thanksgiving dinner. I started wearing one of those tight tanktop undershirts to make sure the belly stays covered and my belly button innie can’t be seen.

Gradually it will pop out more and more as your belly expands, so that it will eventually be about level with your belly, and then as you get even bigger, will start to poke out. I don’t think mine finally passed the point where it was just level with my belly and was actually an “outie” until I really popped at around 7 months.

It never popped out but it def. got flat. With my biggest son it hurt. I think you can get a “hernia” around the belly button but it usually goes away after you deliver.

Mine definitely got shallower, but never quite flat. Fortunately, it went back to exactly how it was before the babies.

Mine popped at about 8 months; it also went back “in” right after I had the baby. 🙂
If you’re concerned, I’ve heard of people putting a bandaid (the small, round ones) on their belly buttons so it doesn’t show through their shirts!

Mine didn’t pop out until I was about 7 months along. Everyone thought it was so funny! Everyone was asking to see it ha! Unfortunately it has never looked the same since…I used to think I had a cute little belly button and now its all stretched out… Oh well the baby was well worth the weird after birth belly button!

At 6 mos, I just look bloated and full. You can see the outline of where my super deep belly button is, but I am layering clothes to try and prevent that. Good thing its starting to get chilly!

I had a major innie. Now it is just very shallow. I’m kinda excited it’s not an outie. I just started my 8th month so I’m not sure if it will change some more.
