My experience is that the older one gets, the wierder it appears to have a belly ring… but that is MY opinion. I am sure that others have different opinions.

I took mine out. I’m only 23, but I really have no desire to put it back in. My days of rocking hot bikinis for spring break are over.

@harperlynn:  I still think they’re cute but definitely not worth it. When you have your baby/toddler climbing all over you it’s only a matter of time before it gets ripped out. I took mine out during my pregnancy.

i took mine out during pregnancy, and because im so small and my baby was so big.. my belly ring hole is now 1/2 inch to the right of where it use to be…. my son asked what it was and i told him. he then said “mommy, im sorry i moved your button”

@harperlynn:  ditto. I always thought mine was so cute but I’m glad I got rid of it. My daughter somehow hits my earrings all the time so I can’t even imagine my belly ring with picking her up and putting her down all the time.

Im so worried about how mine will look after pregnancy. Mine was ripped out during a soccer game, and the bottom ball came up through the top hole (luckly i just had a barbell in then). The hole is quite big, and I think it will probably end stretched and weird afterwards.

@harperlynn:  lol well our pediatrician pierced my daughter ears when she was 6 months and she didn’t even cry. I’m glad I had it done when she was young enough to not mess with them.

@harperlynn: no i haven’t. The bottom part healed fine, the top one (where the barbell got ripped through) stil looks pretty bad, and it’s four years since I got it ripped out. I’d love to figure out something to make it smaller, but for now, i live with it
