I voted belt… but not that one. Maybe just a simple satin ribbon about the same width as the sparkly one you have on.

I think your waist, which is already tiny, looks even smaller without the belt. Gorgeous dress.

Normally I’m all for any extra bling, but in this case I think the dress looks better without the belt. It already has a natural line at your waist, and it has the busy lace pattern, I think this belt gets a bit lost and isn’t necessary.

Beautiful dress, btw, your figure looks stunning in it!

I like it best without the belt.  I think the belt takes away from the lace detailing and interferes with the flow of the dress.  Definitely a case of “less is more” in my opinion.

I was fully prepared to say no belt, especially when I saw how ornate your dress already is in the mid section. However, I am going to disagree with prior posters. I think the belt defines your waist better against the thick lace and makes your waist look smaller. I voted to choose the belt.

I think belt, but not that one. Although your waist is beautifully well defined without it – you look stunning!

I like it without a belt better. Your waist looks very defined already. If you do a belt, I think a satin one would look better than a jewelled one. This dress is stunning on you!

With the belt. Your waist looks amazing with it. I would just do a plain one, though (plain white or ivory- no bling). Try flipping that one over to see how it looks (since the back is usually just plain material)

    Lorena1 :

Well l have to say you look perfectly beautiful both ways, but l prefer it without the belt. It is gilding the lily.
And, if it matters, l think the idea that belts ‘define’ a waist , ie make it look smaller,  is almost never the case . And in your case , not necessary in the slightest.

Lorena1 :  very rarely do I think a dress is enhanced by the belt trend, but this is one of those times.

No belt!!! That dress is stunning as is and the belt does nothing for it. You look great either way though!

It is extremely rare that I ever vote for a belt, but this is one of those times 🙂 I like it!

I love the belt! I feel like it adds some definition and a touch of sparkle and I adore it 🖤

Could you go without the belt for the ceremony and add the belt/ remove the veil for the reception?
