I love the crystal belt. It adds just enough without being overpowering. And you ROCK that dress!

It looks amazing on you….it look beatiful without a belt so you can always accessorize with bling…however i am a sucker for blingy belts so thats what i voted for!

I’d love to see a sash with a little bit of contrast, just for comparison. I think it needs a little something. That dress is gorgeous, though!

I think the belt adds the perfect amount of bling without being too much! My vote is for the belt!

I like it just the way it is, without the crystal belt. I think the belt looks a little funky because it interrupts the criss-cross ruching.

@CocoClassic:  I also bought a Sincerity dress, but different style.

I was wondering if I was the only Bee to wear the brand because I never heard it mentioned before.  I see so many of the same designer dresses over and over again.

I didn’t follow name brands, i tried on dresses until i found one i loved.

It’s a beautiful dress. I don’t think it needs anything. I’d say skip the belt and get some sparkly jewelry.

    You look stunning in it.

I would do no belt, but wear a really nice glitzy necklace.

No belt, your waist is defined enough as it is, and the patterns on the front of the dress look funny with a belt.  But a really bling statement necklace would be amazing.  You look beautiful!

@CocoClassic:  I prefer your dress without the belt. I think it cuts the lovely lines of the dress in an awkward way. I think rocking an awesome statement necklace would look hot with your dress. You look great in that dress!

@CocoClassic:  First of all, even with your face blocked out you are stunning (love the hair and you’re rocking that dress like no other).

As for your dilemma…I say no belt since, as @somethingaquamarine pointed out, it only interrupts the crisscross pattern that is there to accentuate your waist.

If you do want something there, I think a sash (not belt) that has an applique or graduated pattern would work better (since the “bigger in the middle/smaller on the sides” style would better compliment the lines of the bodice):

Moreover, I even recommend purchasing a sheer organza/tulle/horsehair sash so that the sides blend in with the fabric (less pattern interruption), and it’ll draw the eye inward, making your waist look even smaller!

Or you can just get the beaded applique and sew it directly onto your dress:

That dress is so flattering and looks great on you! I voted for sparkly belt, I think it looks great! The belts/sashes with appliques that PP posted above me are awesome too and might accentuate the pattern even more than a plain crystal belt.
