I really like the belt, it reminds me of mine!
I don’t like the thick ones all around, I think it draws too much attention and the lace needs to be the focus. The one you’ve picked adds a nice little touch without overpowering the dress. Unfortunately, mine also cost $300 so I can’t help there 🙁

BELT!! It doesn’t have to be THAT belt though. Why not search etsy or somewhere to find something a little cheaper if you are concerned with the price? 🙂

You need a belt but not that one. A thicker one would be more flattering.

Looks great w/ the belt but I agree w/ everyone that $300 is too much. My friend got hers on Etsy 🙂

The belt is the way to go however, I agree that the $300 price is too much.

Definitely check out Etsy! There are hundreds and hundreds of gorgeous bridal sashes under $200. I agree with many of the comments that a slightly wider belt would be even more gorgeous with your gown!

I would definitely do a belt. You can also look around online (or locally if you’ve got trim shops near you) at rhinestone trims and rhinestone appliqués tHat you can attach to ribbon (with fabric glue or by sewing). I have a “paisley” rhinestone trim that I’m using for my belt that cost $65 for the yard. you can find appliqués that are even cheaper than that!

I think this one is gorgeous:
This Is the one that I have:
It might be hard to wrap your head around a slightly different style now that you’ve got your eye on one(I’m totally like that myself),but it will be sparkly and lovely even though it’s not exactly the same and you probably won’t miss the $300 one at all.
Let me know if you have any questions. I adore DIY!

I think yor dress really needs a belt as it gives you a more defined waist. I love the belt you have picked I think it’s perfect:)))
