msSLP :

Don’t exchange it for a super blingy one , it  would NOT  be an  improvement on that one . I agree it is  a huge price  – and I don’t personally think your dress needs a belt, but it is very pretty and dainty .

I should  add  that you look amazing in that dress too   !

msSLP :  It’s a pretty belt, but I wouldn’t pay $200 for it!  But since returning it isn’t an option, just keep telling yourself and reminding yourself that you’ll be wearing it WITH the dress and everyone will see the belt WITH the dress, not by itself.  Good luck!

msSLP :  It’s a lovely belt ๐Ÿ™‚

Look, everything costs a lot when it relates to a Wedding. Did I need a £300 veil? Probably not! But I bought one because it went so well with the dress.

The belt looks great WITH the dress and it’s SO sparkly, which you wouldn’t get with a cheaper one. Unless you’re planning on whipping the belt off and parading it on it’s own, I wouldn’t worry ๐Ÿ™‚

You look truly stunning in your dress, and the money is spent now so you just need to make your peace with it ๐Ÿ™‚

xx

I love it…I think it totally finishes off the dress…nobody is going to be up on you checking out the details of the belt, people are just going to notice the overall look – which I think is great!

I too have a $200 something dollar belt, so I TOTALLY get your “WTF did I just buy?!” feeling, but I really think it ties everything together – consider it part of the cost of your dress or even your “outfit”…relax and enjoy – you look great!!

They certainly GET you with the belts dont they! Same thing happened to me, i felt like because my dress was on the plain side it needed more bling, so they brought me this belt. i fell in love with the belt but never looked at the price til i got to the register because i figured its just a belt. I got a great deal on my dress but unfortunately my belt was 1/2 the price of the dress-WHAT??? Of course no returns. So relax enjoy the look of the dress with the belt-as you won’t be wearing the belt without the dress and since you like the two together-then perfect! Dont stress let it go and enjoy how the two make you feel!

It is a nice belt, but I would not pay anywhere near that for it.  I’d keep looking, or go with your cheap amazon belt.  Do you have pictures of that one?

I think you look amazing and I kind of think the belt looks perfect!  Just enjoy it as it makes the whole look come together beautifully.

msSLP :  If you’ve already bought the belt and it didn’t cause huge damage to your wallet then I would stop thinking about it. It looks beautiful with the dress. TMost wedding related attire is overpriced. And yes, you can find some great deals, but sometimes it’ just easier to spring for something that just looks right- if it’s within your budget.

Honestly, the dress looks beautiful and I think you made the right choice.

i think the belt totally works! it just adds that little something special to your dress. don’t worry about what the belt looks like off the dress because you aren’t going to be walking around in just your belt! and i know it’s hard, but try not to stress too much over the cost. after i purchased my dress i had a small freak out because i would NEVER pay that much for a dress, but this isnt just a dress, its a wedding dress.

Your dress looks beautiful with the belt. You look great in it and it definitely has an ethereal vibe
