I know Zales can be really overpriced, I am unfamiliar with Ben Bridge. I would compare prices on sites like bluenile and james allen. 🙂

Get an idea on pricing from some reputable online retailers.

Bluenile.com is good as is adiamor.com

You also might do better going to an independently own jeweler rather than a chain store.

my diamond wedding band is from ben bridge.  their flagship store is here so they are well known in this town. they have a very good reputation and great customer service.  they’re kind of a smaller chain. the prices are a bit higher but their quality is top notch.

the rhodium has worn off my ring and it is just barely a warm tone– it’s only the slightest bit noticeable if you hold it up against a really white metal like silver.  I don’t plan on getting it replated.

they have a trade up program too! so you could take your diamond ring in and applly what you paid for it towards new diamond jewelry! the only catch is that the new item must cost 2x (or more) what the old ring did.  but still– pretty neat.

also, they will replace lost stones for free, but only if you bring your ring in to get the prongs checked every six months.

from what I heard, zales is kind of shoddy. temptingly low prices, but poor quality settings.
