headoverboots :  Bermuda is the second half of our honeymoon, we’ll be there next week! We’re planning to do catamaran cruises/snorkeling, enjoying the grottos, and whatever else we can get into while we’re there. We won’t be cruising, rather staying at the Grotto Bay Beach Resort. I can update you when we’re back! 🙂

headoverboots :  Several years ago I spent two days in Bermuda.  We visited the Botanical Gardens and Elbow Beach.  If we had more time I would have rented a motorized bike and gone on the railway trail with a picnic basket!   It is a beautiful place and I dream of going back one day.

Follower here. Can’t really give advice as we just booked a Burmuda/Caribbean honeymoon cruise for this August!! We’re looking at swimming with the dolphins packages at the moment, but they’re expensive. Are there any sky diving/helicopter ride activities available in Bermuda? I’m interested in doing one or the other.

We honeymooned in Bermuda last June!  We stayed at the Fairmont Southhampton and loved it! We rented a moped and enjoyed just cruising the island, exploring and having our own method of transportation. Bermuda is so safe, unlike some other tropical caribbean destinations, i never once felt unsafe no matter where we went!  Let’s see, we did early morning horseback riding on the beach at spicelands riding center, did a catamaran tour with the rising sun, did a jetski tour, golfing, and Dolphin Quest (right at the cruise area in dockyards).  We enjoyed just relaxing at the Fairmont beach, right next to Elbow beach, and we hit up all the restaurants at our hotel – every one was amazing! If you have any other questions i’m happy to answer 🙂 We were going to go back on our first anniversary this year but wanted to stay stateside as im pregnant 😉

We had a hard time deciding. I’d narrowed it down to like 15 locations all over the globe. 😧 That wasn’t particularly helpful but Bermuda was on the list. lol We’ve been to Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, Jamaica and Hawaii in the last year so settled on a Royal Caribbean cruise on their newest ship for a change of pace. I had to figure it out bc I don’t like making travel plans last minute. Good luck with your decision! 😄

happytobeemrs :  It sounds like you did a lot of the kinds of excursions that hubby and I are looking to do. Did you book them well in advance or when you got to the island?
