@ashlee1214:  Best of luck with your replica! I didn’t expect to love so many of her gowns following Galia Lahav, Yaki Ravid and Inbal Dror, but her samples are flawless. I didn’t think I’d ever feel like I had “the one” since these designers are all amazing (and I loved them all!), but this dress clicked! I didn’t go the replica route because a) I have yet to see one that I believe looks as beautiful as the original and b) I want to respect the designers creation. Nevertheless, I hope you are beyond satisfied with your gown!!!

@blondienina:  definitely agree. Plus, the boutiques are no where near me. I was hoping a trunk show would be in driving distance to at least have a Berta moment. I love that gown I’m sure it looks fave. U will have to share photos of u in it.

@scee3:  Congratulations!  Aren’t Berta’s dresses just flawless? Honestly, I hadn’t expected to be blown away going in because the dress I wanted to try on was not available in the trunk show.  Nevertheless, I tried on 13 of her gowns and they were all so beautiful! I’m very happy with my choice.

My daughter looked at  ; and admired) all the Israeli designers and actually had a deposit on an incredible Galia Lehav gown then she learned of Berta. She went to their NY trunk show just days after the fall 2013 runway show and fell in love with one of her dresses And knew it was “the one”. With the trunk show discount, all-in with tax and alterations ~ $7,000. She forfeited her Lahav discount because she felt this dress had all the elements she was seeking. Romantic, Sexy (but with some innocence), movement, modern but with an Art Deco feel And definitely the “Wow factor”. Her wedding is Aug 2014 but Berta lovers, keep your eyes peeled because in May/June she  will be pre-selling her dress at a substantial discount (Available after her wedding). Only 5 stores in the US carry her line and the next Fall 2013 trunk show won’t be until January 2014 in Philadelphia.

@blondienina:  bit sure if there is a name but it is 2 pieces – corset top, sweetheart neckline, thin pearl straps, skirt with lace/pearks with mermaid flowy bottom. Simply gorgeous!

I purchased the beautiful Berta gown for my wedding. I was so happy but it was expensive. $9500 in total with the dress, shipping and a floor length veil.

YES! I tried that dress on in the store! Here is a photo:

You can see in the second photo, that I have a different skirt on. I was trying to get an idea for another look. Just an FYI, most of the Berta gowns are actually two pieces. A bodysuit and skirt – that’s how this one is. It helps for fit.

The dress isn’t completed yet. I wil post photos once it is done. It should be several months, since I am having my dress maker do two gowns for my wedding. The second one is a more simple design and we are working on that one first!

I am new to Weddingbee.  I am also interested in Berta bridal gowns and discovered this post.  Does anyone mind sharing how long it took for their Berta bridal dress to arrive?  How many months in advance would you recommend ordering?
