@megan52088:  I’ve heard double-sided tape and glue dots are a good way to go. 🙂

As a scrapbooker, I would highly recommend the Scotch ATG adhesive runner. It can be purchased at Michael’s with a coupon at a fairly reasonable price. If you are making quite a few – it’s worth it.

If you have a lot of small pieces (around 1.5 inch by 3inch) then I would also suggest this thing called a Xyron X. It basically turns small pieces into stickers, which makes it easy to stick. Again, you can get it at Michael’s with a coupon.

@megan52088:  Hey! I’m in Des Moines too! Smile Are you getting married here?

Anyway, we are in the process of getting our invitations ready to go and decided to go with the Scotch tape runner based upon its good reviews. I just bought it off Amazon for $19.00 and it included the glider and 2 rolls of tape. It was cheaper than Michael’s and Hobby Lobby, even with a coupon. Good luck!

@megan52088:  Yes! We are having the ceremony at St. Ambrose Cathedral, and the reception at the downtown Marriott. I am so excited for our day! How is your planning going?

@megan52088:  Nice! We were going to look into the same Holiday Inn, but no one ever got back to us, so I gave up on that. Planning is going pretty well. We just have to finalize our centerpieces, do invitations and pick out all the little things like a guest book, ringbearer pillow, etc. We just finished our sessions to get married at the church, so that’s a HUGE relief!
