I’m looking for an all-inclusive resort with a wedding venue that is secluded from the beach onlookers. I have come across so many beautiful resorts that unfortunately place a few chairs next to the volleyball net on the beach and in pictures, there are strangers in bathing suits.
Any ideas on where I can get married, not necessarily on the beach, where they seclude the wedding venue just a little?

Ive been to quite a few all inclusives in the caribbean and unfortunately have never seen a wedding gazebo/beach location where random strangers wouldnt be able to see you.
Where in the world asre you thinking of getting married?

We really don’t have a preference for the location, per se.
I know that some resort do offer semi-private venues (i.e. minus the volleyball net 20 feet away). For example, I have heard that the Majestic in the Dominican has a gazebo and a chapel that is not directly in the main beach traffic path.
I do understand that onlookers come with this type of wedding to some degree.

I think it’s possible on tiny resort islands like the maldives or seyshells, of course you are looking at a crapload of money for this.
But yeah. that’s the reason a beach wedding was not appealing to me. Didn’t want to get married next to sunbathers and gawkers.

Have you thought about going off property for the ceremony? We did this and it was awesome! Pricing came out very similar too.

Yes! Couples Tower Isle. There is a mini island right off the the shore that you take a boat to and have a private wedding and cocktail reception for up to 40 people. Then you go back to the main resort for your reception.
It is the most beautiful thing I’ve ever seen and I want to get married there so bad. The only thing holding me back is that it is a “Couples” resort, so I couldn’t invite my single friends/family. They don’t even have rooms with twin beds, only Kings. :-/

i got married at Sunset Beach Resort in Jamaica and for the ceremony they put me on the small topless section of the beach so no one was allowed to go there. people could see from far, but in no way did they get in the pictures or were like right there next to us. it felt very private.
