I’ve always kept things very simple- I’ve used Noxema as a face wash for ages (my Mom uses it too and we both have young looking skin so Noxema or genes?) and for sunscreen I use Shopppers Drug Mart’s Life Brand Sunthera products. All very inexpensive brands.
I do like listening in on more knowledgeable talk in threads like these though 🙂

For retinol, I am currently trying out Verso Skincare, known for their own formulation of retinol, called Retinol 8. It is supposedly 8x more effective than regular retinol but less irritating than the original. I think the star products are the Verso eye serum and Verso facial serum. They have great reviews online, but are pretty pricey. I am only on day 3 so I can’t be certain of the results but I do think it is working.
For a cheaper alternative to the Skinceuticals Vit C + Ferulic Acid, try Maelove Glow Maker for a fraction of the price with the same combination of ingredients.

For anti-aging? Mom and I swear by L’occitane, the Immortelle Divine series. We both use a combination of L’occitane, SK2 serums and Laneige Time Freeze and Water sleeping pack.
Mom’s 60 this year and her skin still gets compliments from people so her routine is now my routine.

I’m only 27 and I don’t really have any wrinkles or crows feet. I do really like rosehip oil. It’s one of my favorite moisturizers. I’m not. A huge fan of the cream kind. I like how cold pressed oils seep in to my skin.
