I have PCOS. I have completely irregular and unpredictibale cycles.
Also in an effort to not completely obsess about tracking my cycles and fertility I am not currently temping yet. Just not ready to start taking that extra step every day.
I am using OPKs though just to see how that goes and do like to record other symptoms as well etc.
Currently I am using M.Cycles and its OK but I don’t like that it doesn’t actually tell you what cycle day you are on. It only shows a calendar so any time you want to know what CD something happens on you have to go back and count from the first day of your last period.
Just wondering if others have additional recommendations for Apps that are geared towards those with irregular cycles (and also not temping dominated)?

I use CLue. It’s not technically a fertility app but it tracks your cycles in a very clear simple and highly customizable way. It also lets you know when you are about to ovulate, are most fertile, and when that window has passed. It’s super visual too.

cluttersmart: I would still use fertility friend, just don’t put in temps if you don’t want to. You can still track everything else (cervical mucus, OPK results, etc). No app will tell you when you are about to ovulate unless you have reliable temps entered-otherwise it’s just a blind guess and very often it is not accurately predicting your ovulation date. If you have irregular cycles I definitely would not trust “fertile window” estimate on any app.
It’s really hard to know when your fertile week will be with irregular cycles. I would say to track cervical mucus but with irregular cycles you can have lots of sets of cervical mucus but no O. I would use fertility friend just because if you decide you want to temp you can go ahead and temp and have all of your other data already there.

I agree 100% with kes18. Go with Fertility Friend.

I use Clue. Free. Not TTC but wanted to keep track of my cycles and its accurate.

kes18: +1. Fertility Friend works fine without temping but also gives you the flexibility to start adding that data if you decide it will be helpful.

I really loved Clue when I was tracking – very user friendly.

cluttersmart: OP I know you said you aren’t temping yet but I just wanted to say it might actually reduce TTC stress, especially with irregular cycles. Temping will let you know if you ovulated so you aren’t getting your hopes up at every “late period” when really you didn’t ovulate or haven’t yet ovulated.
That said even if you are not temping I would use fertility friend. If/when you do decide to temp you can stick with the same app.
