The best bachelorette party I went to we took a pole dancing class.  We wore comfy clothes and got a great workout.  Then we changed into dresses and wore bunny ears to go out to a night club.

The front runner for mine that my Maid/Matron of Honor and maids are planning is a wine tour in a hot pink limo one of the local limo companies rents. I’m not one for strippers and penis themes and bar hopping, so I’m hoping this is the one they pick!

The best bachelorette party I went to was my own!  This past weekend!  We went to Santa Ynez for wine tasting.  Friday night we arrived and had a low key dinner.  I opened some presents from my fab bridesmaids who gave me a whole hilarious outfit and special “Bride” painted wine glass for the next day.  On Saturday, the limo arrived for 4 horus of winetasting at 4 different wineries.  There was endless champagne in the limo, with lunch and constant pictures by the driver, which will be sent to us on a DVD.  Each winery gave me wine in my special glass and also in their tasting glass. That night we went out to dinner, drank some of the wine we bought and then out to a club in Solvang (I had no idea Solvang had a Hollywood type club!)  The next day we went to breakast and my bridesmaids brought out all the bottles of wine they bought at the wineries, which turned out to be for me… each bottle they labeled with when my Fiance and I can drink it… ie on our first anniversary, after our first baby, after our first big fight, etc.  It was wonderful!

Oh wow that sounds like the best bachelorette party!  Mine is this weekend and I have a vague idea of what’s on the agenda- its not exactly relaxing!  But we’ll do a spa day on Sunday.  I just don’t like going out to lounges and drinking in excess anymore, I’m gettin’ old!  I think Im more into unique bonding experiences more than crazy nights like we had in college.  I can’t wait until its over, as horrible as that sounds, but a couple friends (in the bridal party) have been fighting with each other so much, the tension will be ridiculous.

Mine…….My Maid/Matron of Honor and I went to Cabo San Lucas and stayed in an all-inclusive resort for one week.  It was heaven!!!  But I understand unrealistic for some people.

Mine was pretty kick-ass, it included activities such as a Mexican fiesta with sangria and then taking a group salsa dance class with open bar, a picnic in Central Park, manis/pedis, brunch and a night out of a dancing!

At another fun bachelorette party I went to, we took a pole dancing class and then went out and it was super-fun!

The best bachelorette party I ever attended…was mine! Why? because my girls did such a good job planning a party that was totally “me.” I’m a huge SATC fan, so we had a entire weekend in NYC eating, drinking, and dancing at all the places featured on the show and it was a blast.

So, the best party is a party with the “bride” written all over! Make it all about her personality and tastes and she is sure to have a blast. :o)

Mine was pretty typical, but I LOVED it.  We went out to a nice Italian dinner in Boston’s North End.  Then we hit a bar and finished the night off by dancing at a club.  My hosts gave me a tiara and a feather boa, but NO penis paraphanelia thank God.  We spent the night in a nice hotel in downtown Boston, and finished out the weekend on Sunday  morning with a yummy brunch.  For me it was really fun to have one more big night out with the girls before getting married.  I agree with @TwinkleToes though.  The best bachelorette party should reflect who the bride is, and what her idea of fun is.

the only one i’ve ever been to was mine, 7 of us did lunch and snacks and games at one maids house, then 4 of us went to pole dance lessons, and then 3 went from bar to bar in dener co! had a ton of fun even though only 2 people(besides myself) showed up for the bar part

I loved mine/my MOH’s! We had a combined party since our weddings were 2 weeks apart. We went to a Phillies game…tailgated beforehand, got on the jumbotron and went to the ballpark bar afterwards. So much fun! Her ride home wasn’t as fun, but such an awesome night for us!

The best bachelorette party I ever went to was in Las Vegas.  We were pampered during the day and partied hard at night.  We ate at great restaurants and even went to see a show.  We never did do the male stripper thing.

It was so much fun, I wish my friends and I would do a girls weekend like this every year!  But its so tough since everyone lives so far from each other.

@Mrs. Louboutin:

OMG the wine bottle labels made me emotional too! So sweet! What great bridesmaids! I am too planning a Santa Inez/Solvang party for myself. My girls will plan it but that is my idea. It is great to read all of these! Thanks for the tips!

Any suite or cottage ideas in Solvang for 10 girls?
