I brought the shoes I was wearing when I met Darling Husband (the first thing he ever said to me was “nice shoes”), one of his dress shirts, a silky robe (intended for covering up, but ended up making it into the shoot and looked good), a jean skirt & button down shirt, a cowboy hat, an apron, some cupcakes, a veil, and a freaking suitcase FULL of lingerie and shoes! LOL! I think bras of different colours worked really well for me for peaking out from behind shirts. I really ended up mostly in bras/panties, although I appreciated the hat/skirt/button down shirt combo to ease me into being more comfortable.

Think about the location you’ll be doing your shoot in and the vibe you want the photos to have and accessorize from there 🙂 Here’s the post with my photos so you can see the plethora of outfits I had, a lot of photographers will only give you a few outfit changes, mine just happened to be really sweet and having as much fun as I was, so we went crazy!

bring the highest heels you own for any standing shots (or borrow a pair from a friend).  This will make your legs look a mile long and help perk the tush.

Satins tend to photograph better than chiffons, Lace is always a plus

Soft modal cotton or jersey is your friend (feels great on and the drape is a photog’s dream)

Practice in the mirror!!!  If you don’t know your best angles, or at least some poses that you know you look good in,  your photographer can’t help you.
