I’ve used my kitchenaid set for close to a decade now. We are ready to throw them out! They served us well but I’d like another set that will get us through the next decade.
What brand do you recommend? Something nice but nothing over-the-top expensive (nothing more than $200 per item or more than $1,000 for a set)
Recommendations are REALLY appreciated!….because I have no idea what I’m dooooing. Thanks!

I LOVE our Calphalon pans! The are heavy duty and clean up nicely.
We don’t have a full set of them, but the ones that we do have are by far my favorite.

We got an Analon pan about a year or so ago, and have been really impressed so far! We registered for the whole set, even.
My parents have Calphalon pans, have had them for probably 8-10 years, and they are mostly holding up well. A couple have had scratches, but I think that happens with anything “nonstick”-ish. They are nice to use, though!

In your budget, I would totally go for All-Clad. We’re thinking of registering from Tramontina, but largely for budget reasons.

All-clad all the way! They’re pricey but awesome.

I own a gorgeous set of high-end (not their middle of the road stuff) Lagostina Stainless Steel Pots… LOVE em !!

It depends… do you want stainless steel or non-stick? If stainless steel, the I would go with All- Clad or calphalon stainless tri-ply (these are better than other stainless steel pans as these have the heating element sandwiched through the entire pan rather than just a bottom plate = faster and better heat conduction). If you want non-stick, I would go with Calphalon contemporary nonstick… lifetime warranty and leading vendor in non stick cookware.
