I am only going by what I’ve read here on Weddingbee, but people have reported good experiences with BestBridalPrices.com, NetBride.com, Jay’s Bridal, and Pearl’s Place. Just do a search of the wedding bee boards for “bestbridalprices.com” and you will see the other posts about that site.

I’ve personally found better prices on ebridalsuperstore.com and plussizebridal.com.  Plussizebridal sells non-plus size dresses too.  Oh and one more I found a good price on was princessbridalgowns.com.

What I have read about here is that bestbridalprices is legit, and they have a price matching policy so if you can find it for sale on one of the OTHER sites, you can show it to bestbridalprices and as long as it’s a legit site they will match the price.  Then you can order it from a site that has more reviews/info around on the net (bestbridalprices, I mean).

Good luck.  I’m price-shopping myself.

bestbridalprices.com is NOT the same as places selling knockoffs. They have actual contracts and sell real dresses. They are run out of a bridal shop in IL. I actually bought my Allure from their actual store. The sales ladies are really nice and helpful. I have had no issures dealing with them at all.

@zippylef:  Yes, there is another site with a very similar name that IS a knockoff site and I think some people confuse the two.  The knockoff site is bestdressprice.com and they look legit at first then you dig deeper and you notice things, like bad spelling (their flower girl section says “Make them look like angles“) and this, from their FAQ:

How are your prices so low?

Bestdressprice.com is able to offer our featured collections online 30% – 40% off retail prices for 2 key reasons. First, the dresses in Bestdressprice.com are the produced by our own factory.

Then there is conflicting info such as this where they seem to imply they are a dress seller/dealer and not a knockoff site:

Why can’t I get an exact shipping date instead of an estimated shipping date?

Manufacturers do not guarantee their ship dates since their production can vary. Ship dates are tentative and subject to change. Manufacturers provide retailers with an estimated shipping date, which we in turn provide to our customers. If the customer want to know the status ,the email and phone can be touched.

Email and phone can be touched?  Huh?  Anytime I see this sort of weird sentence construction I run far away. Wink

Also they have ratings posted from customers… but some of them are BAD!   Well I saw one that is good but actually says “This is not the real dress from Alfred Angelo…” So they obviously don’t monitor their own “testimonials” before they are published which is just bizarre.  What company would do that?

Add to that the fact that they claim 5 to 8 weeks for delivery when we all know the standard seems to be around 12 to 16 weeks.

The other annoying thing about this site is they use the designer logos and style numbers and photos so if you weren’t careful you’d think you were ordering the real deal.

Anyway, be careful!
