It’s all going to be a matter of personal taste so your responses will vary. For a colorless stone I will only wear diamonds. I dislike white sapphires and I’m just not a moissy person.

Le:  If you can get a diamond in the quality/size color etc you want go for it! If budget is an issue forever one moissanite is a great atlernative. I went with a 1.5 carat forever one and am very happy. Amora gems are great as well but as you said have been sold out etc.

Better than diamonds re stocked on Fri and sold out

I expect theyll sell out again on 7/12 but maybe you will get lucky and get one, if u stalk their page

Otherwise maybe a moissanite since it sounds like you are looking for a diamond alternative

Le:  Mine would most likely be Amora gem and diamonds, I quite like a bigger stone so it’s not been that possible to get a bigger sized diamond without it costing a bomb. Diamonds are expensive in the UK. Though I do own both, a 0.51 heart brilliant diamond and a 1.5 Amora Gem. Moissanite is quite nice too, I would probably go for a Forever One if I could.

I love Amora Gems! They look even better in person and photos don’t do them justice. Are you ok with getting the Amora Gem Ultra or are you waiting on the new cut? The reason I’m asking is on MoissaniteCo they are selling quite a few Amora Gem Ultras at a discounted price right now, good sizes and stats. They even have some G’s in.

I don’t think you can beat a diamond! I couldn’t imagine wearing anything else but it’s down to personal preference. Go with which looks and feels best to you

Im a diamond girl hands down. I had a moissy but it just does not perform the same way as a diamond. The rest have durabiliYt issues.

Le:  I’ve not had an amora gem, but between diamond and moissanit, diamond definitely sparkles mich better. Between a 2 ct moissy and a 2 carat diamond I could definitely see a difference

If you are looking for a diamond alternative cz is the best diamond alternative. If you are looking for a colorless stone then moissy. I love white sapphire too but they don’t sparkle as much and they are much softer so for ring purpose I would stick with cz.

to be honest I have seen a diamond/cz/moissy ring and they are all beautiful and it really depends on what you like and can afford and you are ok with. Diamonds are expensive as heck and personally I feel like it’s just a status thing and good marketing. No one is gonna care about your ring as much as you and your fiancé and after the initial engagement period many people won’t look at it closely. Also I really think that people usually complement the setting and not per say the stone. any white stone with a good setting specially in an engagement ring people are going to assume diamond unless you correct them.
