I’ve always used Covergirl Concealer and topped it off with some loose powder. That usually does the trick for me!

I love Laura Mercier’s concealer, which can be mixed to match your skin color depending on what is needed to be covered up. It’s a bit pricey, but it lasts forever and it’s the perfect consistancy.

My trick: a stay-in-place full coverage foundation over and before concealer. I conceal with NYX concealer in a jar, its inexpensive and works great. I color correct with green under my foundation then use a stippling brush and Revlon Colorstay then use my normal color concealer on my spots then I use a flat top powder brush and push the powder onto my face instead of brushing it all over. When I brush powder on my face it seems to rub the concealer off, so I press the powder on and it works great. That’s just what I do because I get insane breakouts and I have scars I need to cover.

oh, and it seems that cream concealer, in a pot works best for me because its more full coverage, but not all are like that. The NYX one is the best one that I’ve found so far 🙂

I’ve been loving the MAC Pro Longwear concealer that comes in the mini pump bottle. The pump is annoying because it dispenses way too much product (and you only need a tiny dab for coverage), but the formula is awesome. I tap it on and blend in with a fluffy little brush and I can’t even tell it’s there. I think it’s under $20 for the bottle, and it will seriously last forever because you need so little. I like that it’s super lightweight but has good coverage and staying power – so I can use it on blemishes and under my eyes. Set with a light dusting of powder, it lasts me from 6 am when I put my make-up on until I get home from work around 5 pm. I’d say at least try a sample (because even the sample could last you a month)!

MUFE Full Cover – dot it on with your finger tip but don’t blend it all the way.  Let it sit for a minute and then finish blending.  Layer if you need to.  This is how I cover all the old red marks from my breakout and it does the trick pretty well.
