I am going to a diaper party tomorrow, and I was wondering what size diapers to bring. I don’t have any kids, so diaper sizes mean nothing to me. What size do you think would be the most useful to the parents?

kawood0618: 1s or 2s — you don’t know how big the baby’ll be, or for how long, so while the newborn sizes might not be used the bigger ones will be.

Anything but newborn ones should be fine. They out grow the newborn ones so fast.

Yes, skip the newborn size. My baby left the hospital in size 1 diapers and I ended up returning all of our newborn stock.

My first was in size 4 forever. If you’re looking for a smaller size though, size 2 is a good option.

I vote 2-3. Everyone gets the itty bitty ones, and most kids (unless they are very physically large and/or train really early) are in those bigger sizes forever.

2-3. I feel a lot of people buy newborn and size 1. My baby grew out of those sizes quick. She was in size 3 for a long time

0-3 months is fine. My daughter’s didn’t even fit into newborn sized diapers.

Thanks everyone! I wound up getting size 2, and the parents seemed happy!
