For drugstore I like a combination, I’ve like products from covergirl and neutrogena, almay, revlon, and l’oreal. Covergirl, I’ll get almost anything, revlon generally stick to color, l’oreal is typically for mascara, almay and neutrogena mostly for skin products (like foundation, powder etc)

Hope This Helps 🙂

I’m really liking the revlon photoready foundation- they say it’s supposed to be comparable to one of MAC’s foundations, but i’ve never used MAC’s so I can’t vouch for that.

I like maybelline eyeliners, but I do have a L’Oreal liquid liner.I am also loving the maybelline eyestudio gel liner.

When I wear eyeshadow, I use revlon, ut i’ve personally found that certain ones aren’t as pigmented (the browns and stuff for my skin tone don’t show up as well)

Mascara is usually whatever is on sale, I really dont need it and I just use it for the color from after applying foundation and eyeshadow.

I liked almay’s stuff when I used it. I used to get the stuff that was supposed to match/bring out my eye color 🙂

I’m a fan of Revlon lip colors. They tend to last forever and don’t smudge.

Max factor for mascara and lip colour. L’oreal for their superliner, Bourjois for their liner feutre and eyeshadows (I repurchase a variety of black liners and depending on the look I want I alternate).

I use L’Oreal True Match, which is just as good as any department store makeup. L’Oreal True Match pressed powder is also very good.

L’Oreal Voluminous mascara is amazing. I’ve been using it for at least 15 years.

I have recently been using Maybelline 10 Hour Stain Gloss, which is incredible.

The only expensive makeup item I’m using right now is Tarte cheek stain. The most natural blush I have ever used and cannot be duplicated as far as I know.

if i’m buying drug store eyeshadow, the only one i will buy is Wet’n’Wild. They recently changed their formula and they are alot more pigmented than before and will give you the color coverage you want.

I don’t think you can beat Maybelline Great Lash for waterproof mascara.

I like Cover Girl tinted moisturizer, and Cover Girl has been better for me for eyeshadows, too.

Revlon lipstick stays on really well, but it can get dry and crackly. MaxFactor has, I think, the best balance of staying power and comfort.

I like mineral powder foundation (much more natural looking for freckled girls like me), and the best alternative to the expensive stuff is L’Oreal.

Neutrogena healthy makeup, the antioxidant (liquid) foundation. Best and affordable drugstore makeup I’ve found in years. My face has never turned orange or let my pores show through. It sits heavier than most foundations, but that means I get to use less and it covers SO much better.

I even like Neutrogena’s mascara.

As for blush and face powder, I love Physicians formula.

I really have been loving Burt’s Bee’s chapstick (the pomegranate one is the smoothest).

Say Yes to Carrots has great lipgloss.

Ive een told revlon photoready foundation is good, I will be buying this since I might do my own make up as well

E.L.F. eyeshadows are great! and usually on sale, ive got a few makeup artist friends that use these eyeshadows.

-I love l’oreal beauty tubes mascara (the one with the red and white dual sided tube). NEVER smudges, and my allergies have put it to the test!! It lengthens and volumizes just as well as a high end mascara. I always end up coming back to this one!

– Love Revlon’s lipsticks.

– I just bought one Maybelline’s color tattoo creme eyeshadow in bad to the bronze, and it stays on my oily lids ALL DAY, no creasing, minimal fading. It’s amazing!!! Their dream matte pressed powder is pretty dang good for the price as well.

-NYC sunny bronzer is awesome if you’re fair skinned, and it’s only 3 dollars.

-ELF’s brow powder kit is great, as well as their HD powder. For a wedding, I’d definitely say get the HD powder. It’s translucent, and cheap, and lovely.

-I also love Covergirl’s liquid eyeliner felt tip pens. Used these for theatre and dance for years!

Covergirl’s 24 hour Lashblast is AMAZING. It’s pretty much a waterproof mascara, but it doesn’t even begin to flake after a 12 hour work day. Plus, the brush gives you mega lashes and lots of definition and fluffiness (my criteria for mascara). I like Sephora and Ulta’s eye liners and, for your big day, I would go there for well-priced liner. It glides on smoothly and stays put. Maybelline Eye Studio eye shadow goes on smoothly and stays well, too. Plus, the pigments are great. I don’t use too much concealer/foundation but I tend to like Almay. Though, I did just by a cheap Revlon foundation in a glass bottle with a little wand thing (don’t remember the name but it was like $4!) and I really like it! Just make sure to set with a powder, like Physician’s Formula (their blush is great!). I guess I’m all over the place haha

Best drugstore brands, IMO:

Foundation- definitely Revlon ColorStay. This is my normal foundation, and with a primer lasts all day and night.

Primer- Monistat Chafing Gel. Sounds crazy, but it works just as good as many of the expensive primers out there. And it’s only $6! I definitely wouldn’t skip using primer. It just helps smooth out your face and helps the foundation stay.

Eyeliner- almay eyeliner (both liquid and pencil) work pretty well for the cost and are waterproof.

Mascara- loreal voluminous million lashes! (in the gold tube, the waterproof kind) I love this stuff. I’m actually using it as the mascara for my wedding.

Since you’re going to Target, definitely get E.L.F. Their mineral foundation powder is pretty good, and lightweight, and the eyeshadows are good too. You can probably get a eyeshadow palette. You could also order off their website, the prices are cheap, and they have lots of shimmery eyeshadows too. Definitely Maybelline for mascara. Revlon Coverstay has good coverage, lasts well, and would work well for photos. Don’t use the Photo Ready because it’s gotten a lot of bad reviews about how the shimmer appears on photos.
