I wish I had a suggestion. My mom is a dental hygienist and she will not let me touch those because she swears they will ruin your teeth. She got me the permanent professional whitening for my 16th birthday- I think it’s around $500 but you only need to touch up for 1.5 hours every year or two. If you do pick something, choose the sensitive option. She says you can take off surface stains by putting baking soda on your tooth brush mixed in with your tooth paste. Good luck!

I swear by the Crest White Strips (Advanced) and do them twice a year. I also suffer the sensitivity issues and to combat it I use Sesodyne toothpaste o nly when I am using the strips. I have found that it helps a great deal.

Also Crest came out with a whitening strip treament option where you put it on for less time daily but more days overall. It might be a better option for you.

@craftybridelovesnerdygroom:  Yeah I have been told they are safe by several dentists including my own. Perhaps there are some brands out that are damaging but I haven’t yet experienced that.

I have been using that particular type for probably 5 years or so and always have a raving review from my dentist.
