Hi everyone! I have noticed the pores on my cheeks seem to have gotten bigger in the past year. What are the best products to ues to make them appear smaller? I know you cannot actually shrink them but I assume some products are better than others. Thanks!

I have huge pores on my nose (ew!). I like Cetaphil for face wash and Acerola for moisturizing in the morning. The Acerola gel really does seem to make my pores almost invisible, and I NEVER wear makeup of any kind. 🙂

It’s not a face wash but I use a finishing powder from tarte cosmetics which claims to have amazonian clay and that has really helped reduce the size of my pores over time. Since it is clear when applied you can wear it daily either over or without makeup. It’s a little pricey but I swear by it as it has worked wonders for me. You can find it at Ulta and Sephora.

I have to say, Cetaphil is the bomb! (and I’ve done EVERYTHING you can do for acne-prone skin from Clearasil & Sea Breeze to ProActiv & Murad all the way to taking Accutane! Ask me about an acne or oily skin/pore-shrinking regimen and I’ve probably tried it, haha.) Cetaphil is truly the best thing ever! I use the formulation for oily skin. I also use Murad Oil-Control Mattefier under my makeup and it makes my pores look much smaller. http://www.sephora.com/product/productDetail.jsp?skuId=1133727&productId=P227801&keyword=MURAD%20Oil-Control%20Mattifier%20SPF%2015%20-%20P227801&_requestid=105604′ defer=’defer

It’s amazing, it litterally shrank my pores. I use it as a mask, and after about 10 minutes you can totally see my pores are smaller. Love love love it

@HelloSweetie: How often do you use it as a mask? Does your face feel tighter afterwards? I feel like my pores look bigger b/c my skin isn’t as tight as it used to be..probably from wearing makeup when working out (I know – huge “no no” but I work out during my lunch time at work) and tanning (which I don’t do anymore).
