We’re having 2 tiers. One will be chocolate with peanut butter filling, one will be confetti cake. His groom’s cake will be sugar free chocolate (he’s diabetic.)

Agreed with sweetiejewels:  It should be what cake you love.

We’re having three cakes from a local bakery, and my favorite is the cardamom cake with chai frosting.  I don’t really like cake in general, but I will be eating some of this one!!

I don’t now what’s best, since everyone likes different things. We’re getting a spice cake, which is super yummy and I think everyone will enjoy it.

We’re doing vanilla and then a chocolate slab cake for the “groom’s cake.”

I love red velvet and cream cheese frosting. Love. I actually love all cake. I just dont like the fruit fillings – unless its real fruit in the middle. Most of the time its a weird sugar jelly type filling.

We actually went with cupcakes for this reason. Though I love all cake probably a little too much, Darling Husband and most of our friends have different cake needs. We are doing Choc. PB, Carrot Cake, Vanilla, and Choc.

I think when choosing the cake, you should try more to appeal to the masses rather than yourselves. Most B&Gs take just one bite and move on to other things. Odd combinations will assure you that much of it will be left on the tables, uneaten.
