Never went to many weddings let alone ones with favors.

My favorite one I’ve seen from online was the macarons.

To be honest, I have only gotten 1 food favor, it was 1 ferro rocher.

I am doing mini cotton candies for my favors. I’ve heard people like cookies, chocolates, honey, smore kit.

I got a mini bottle of champagne once at a wedding and that was nice, and I heard that the truffles we gave away went like wildfire!  I don’t think you can really go wrong with chocolate or wine.  🙂

I neither expect, nor want, a favor. But as far as food favors go, I guess I like old-school jordan almonds (I seem to be in the minority on this, though).

My friends mom ownes a bakery and made their favorite cookies as guest gifts. They were so good since she doesnt sell them in her shop, which my husband and I are fans of. And my mom baked chocoalte cupcakes for our guest gifts. Both were hits.

I rarely take anything (I count calories), so it doesn’t matter to me. When we took Jordan almonds, in the past, I threw them out back to the squirrels.  A number of family members have nut allergies and I can’t stand food coloring. Giving people a choice seems best, whether it be a candy or cookie buffet, or something like that.

We did little jars of locally made honey.  They were pretty and people liked them.

My step sister gave out these:

And they were actually really good! She order them as shown in the photo. I just asked her where she got them because I am considering ordering them myself!

I’ve also gotten a bottle of wine, champagne, theme-colored M&M’s with the couple’s faces on them (you can go on their website to do that), and cupcakes as favors. All of them were very kind gestures that I enjoyed. Those brownie pops were the best, though. Honestly.

We’re doing mini pies in little bakery boxes from a local farm bakery. They are very reasonably priced. All her flavors are amazing so we’re getting different kinds and people can trade at their tables if they want. I think we settled on cherry, blueberry, lemon curd and coconut cream!
