Hi all! I decided my first step now that I’m engaged is to setup our personal wedding website and try to blog my planning process. Do you all have any suggestions on the best free site out there? It has to be free, I need to be able to upload photos, and I’d like it to have a blog feature.
Am I missing any other cool features? What do you recommend? Thanks!

I did mywedding.com, too. I am doing phone/web RSVP’s as our guest list is spread out over the world and I don’t trust mail. I also bought a $10 domain name and redirected it, so it looked pretty and clean on the card.

I’m using an actual blog site and tweaking it to work for the wedding!

I’ve found weddingwire.com to be pretty great. I believe they do offer a blog feature, although I haven’t used it.

I used mywedding.com as well – it was perfect for me because I’m not into coding and just wanted an interface. I uploaded a lot of pics, music, etc. I think I used almost al of the extra pages as well. I had a really good interaction with their service desk, very helpful and quick. I didn’t use their blog feature because I was already using blogger. Whatever you end up using, have fun! I liked creating our website a lot 🙂

I’m using projectwedding.com because it was the one site that allowed me the simplest URL. I think the ones sites like theknot.co give you are to long an complicated. I wanted something my guests could remember.
