@cmsgirl:  Whereeee is that headpiece from?!?!

OP… Dress one is 1000000x nicer in my humble opinion :). It’s whimsical and romantic and flowy… The bottom looks dreamy and I can totally imagine it being even better in person. You look great. Maybe it’s not typical bridal but with a great headpiece or veil, hair, makeup etc… Stunning!!! And I think it’s much more chic. Love it.

Edit: just saw your update! Glad you’re happy!

I don’t care for the first one. But hon it’s YOUR day! You wear what you feel is in your heart.

I absolutely love dress one on you – the second is not as distinctive.   The layers and color of dress one, and the way it fits you, are just lovely!

I know you already moved on from dress one, but I loved it. And just for the record– I find it SO difficult to take opinions from my mom, my sister, my maid of honor, other friends, because NOBODY EVER AGREES! Just looking at these boards, it’s obvious we all have different visions, and that’s fine! I haven’t found my dress yet, but I am leaning toward making a decision without consulting anyone at all, because it’s too confusing once they start weighing in with their own ideas about how I should look. Everyone else is invested in their own vision of who you are, but that doesn’t make their opinions more meaningful or valid somehow. The whole thing is one hundred percent subjective. (Can you tell I just got home from a long, frustrating day of endless dress try-ons?) And one more bit of advice: when you do decide, tell people that the only appropriate reaction is that they love it, because you’ve already decided. Your best friend’s comment is truly upsetting.
