Oh no. I’m so sorry. I would definitely try to keep her busy but I’d stay away from wedding stuff at least for now.

That’s so sad. I’m so sorry for your loss. This must be a really tough time for all of you. It sounds like you’re trying to be sensitive to her and she’s trying to be sensitive to you, which I think is a good thing. I think the best thing you can do is ask her what she needs/wants and to be honest with you if she’s getting overwhelmed or wants to take a few steps back from the whole thing. I can imagine the wedding itself will be really hard for her, but you both sound like good supportive friends and like you’re each handling it the best you can.

@julieandjaiden:wow. you are in a touch place. I don’t know what I would do, but I would feel bad about making her do to much wedding stuff because it will remind her of what would have been for her. god bless to both of you.

@julieandjaiden: When we were in college a close friend of ours died in an accident.  We got through with a lot of jokes. The toilet overflowing at her wake had us rolling on the floor laughing.

So sorry to hear about this.  It sounds like your friendship will help her through this very emotional time.  Thank you for sharing the photos.  I find it very enlightening that the photo behind your friends says “Cherish Yesterday,  Dream Tomorrow, and Live Today”…. a very meaningful quote for us all to live by!  Hugs!!

I wish her the best and will keep her in my prayers.  So so sad.

@JulieandJaiden:  Just be 1000x supportive right now.  I am amazed at her strength and resilience.  She is probably so glad to have you there beside her during such a sad time.

This is so sad. I pray that your friend gets through this. You seem to be a really great person. Just be there for her in anyway possible. She may not want to talk about everything right now (she might still be in shock), but having someone around is really helpful for the grieving process.
