Did you exchange wedding day gifts with your groom? If so what did you give them?
I know watches and cufflinks are pretty popular. As are sweet love notes but i ould love to hear some other perhaps more unusal suggestions.
I personally love to give Art or Experiences as gifts (for any occasion) but something more sentimental seems appropriate for a wedding exchange.

@justjade: I don’t think mines very unique but I’ll share anyways…
I have a vintage whiskey set that he’d love since he saw it (3 years ago) and I’ve been hiding it from him. I’m giving him that with a nice bottle of whiskey and a note 🙂

We will be, just something small. I purchased a set of stamped metal keychains that have the coordinates of our ceremony location, and will be getting a stamped metal love note for him, too (size of a credit card to keep in his wallet–we’re big note writers). He’s not a jewelry guy, has no use for cufflinks or a money clip and that kind of thing.
Etsy has TONS of awesome stuff.

I gave him a gift, but he didn’t give me one. I’m pretty sure he hates the gift, but longer term, I think it would be a nice gift for kids and grandkids.
It’s a book called “The Story of a Lifetime” – it has about 500 questions related to the writer’s early childhood, school years, adulthood, marriage, etc. Basically, a full picture of your entire life. The author created it because she realized she had so many questions about her parents’ lives.
