I designed our invites myself thinking it would save us a ton of money. Then I started pricing out the printing. UGH! It was going to cost us over $300 at Kinko’s for all the color copies we needed.
So then I thought we could just print them ourselves. Ugh, that would’ve taken probably at least a few ink cartridges at $50/each, plus it would take foooooorever.
Then my groomsmen tells me he can just do them for me at his work. WHAT! He not only printed all of them: Main insert, direction card, accommodation card, info card, RSVP…..but when I went to pick them up today he had also CUT them all for me too on thier fancy machine! Score! You know how many hours that’s going to save me!
He might have to get an extra special groomsmen gift!
Darn it won’t let me upload a pic! : (

Omg, so jealous. Can he serve in my wedding too? After two weeks of working on invites, we only just finished gluing cardstock to the pockets. We still have to print the actual linen part of the invitations, glue them, stamp, and emboss. Then there is the envelope liners. =/

I had to talk myself down from the envelope liners ledge! I want them so bad but I gotta stop myself from going so overboard on all these detail no one will notice but me.
But I really want them!

I got this same favor done for me from a certain future in law and i was so thankful, i had to cut mine myself though but i did get a fancy paper cutter to borrow to do so! Huge savings of time and money! Buy that man a beer, or 24 🙂 Score.
