Barefoot makes pretty good wines for under $10.  Yellow Tail, too.

We are serving Barefoot Chardonnay at our wedding.  It’s about $6/bottle unless it’s on sale.  I also recently tried Barefoot’s Zinfandel and liked it, especially for a $6 bottle of wine.  Menage Trois makes a good red wine…it varies in price but I think Costco sells it for around $8.

Fuzion! I like the shiraz.

Also, Robert Modavi – both the special selection (cab sauv) and woodbridge (merlot) are good.

Can you tell I like red wine?

@Jaynee: Yes!  I like Menage a Trois red, too!  That is a “go-to” cheap red in our house.

I would highly recommend check out the Folie A Deux “Menage A Trois” wines. They have a red (merlot/cab/Zin), White (Moscato, Chenin Blanc, Chardonnay) and Rose. They are all delicious and started selling them in stores like BevMo! and Target for around $10.00 a bottle.

It is a Napa Valley wine (used to go to their old tasting room frequently).

I think that Indaba makes the best wines under 10.  Astor Wines and Spirits has a weekly 10 under $10 guide.  They are in NYC but they also ship.  And if nothing else, their website can point you to really nice (and non-huge chain) bottles.

Because I am champagne freak, my fave sparkling under $10 is delacroix brut (which clocks in at $7.96 a bottle and less per case at Astor)

Barefoot is great, even their champagne is good. I also love Yellowtail (especially their Pinot Grigio). My new obsession is Bear Flag wine. They do blends. I like both their “Soft White” and their “Bright White.” I haven’t tried their “Dark Red” but their “Smooth Red” was good and I don’t even like Reds. I get them at our local natural foods store.

There aren’t many “great” ones that come in Magnums, but I agree that Barefoot is really good!  I like Cupcake too (no magnums) for Chardonay and Sparkling wine.
