I would not do Amway. I did Pampered Chef for a while and loved it, may still get back into it. Do you have any warehouses like HSN or QVC around? I know one bee works at home for them, I wish I could remember which one. Miss Maine maybe?

There are a few threads about work from home bees. I would search for them and see what you can find

I am a Stella & Dot stylist.  Stella & Dot is a great company and probably one of the better direct sales companies on the market currently.  Their products are on trend and they are growing their product line beyond jewelry.  I work full-time and sell Stella & Dot part-time (evenings and weekends).  It can be very profitable if you are consistantly holding large volume trunk shows.  If not, then the money is not as good and I feel like I have a hard time affording enough jewelry doing it part time since a new line is introduced every six months.  I would definitely recommend going to a local stylist meeting or meet & greet and talking with some local stylists.  The Stella & Dot website has a list of regional meetings that are available to those interested in becoming a stylist.

I’m *NOT* trying to threadjack at all, but was wondering if you or anyone you know has been a mystery shopper or online survey taker? I have a friend that makes several thousand a year doing surveys (I tried, but didn’t have the dedication and only made $50, lol). I’ve been looking into some Secret/Mystery Shopper opportunities because it seems so much easier. Maybe some other bees have done this or know good companies for it. Just wanted to share the thought. 🙂

A friend told me you can make money writing blurbs for search engines–may be something to look into if you like to write!

I would love to do the mystery shopping thing…I get emails all the time but I don’t want to just send my information to some random stranger…I need to find a legit company!

I did mystery shopping yearrrs ago, I think my Girlfriend introduced me to it, but I forgot the particulars. I did some assignments for Starbucks. You had to pay up front for the drinks, but then they reimbursed you for it in addition to your wage.
