Hey guys, my black leggings just got a little hole in the knee so I’m looking to replace them with some REALLY GOOD ones. Durable and comfortable. (Not looking for Lularoe. I actually do quite like their leggings but that’s what these were and I want something different.) Anyone have suggestions on the best brand? Looking for fashion leggings for every day wear, NOT workout style. TIA!!!!

They’re kinda leggings, but not really… but imma recommend them anyway! J.Crew any day ponte pants (formerly known as Pixie pants). I wear them everywhere, including to work (I have a casual office though). They’re comfy/stretchy like leggings, but have more structure and are thicker. They last forever too!

TheGridMonster : I bought some of these a few years ago after you recommended them and I love them! Very nice finish and good structure but comfortable and easy to wear.

TheGridMonster : I’ve never heard of those, I’ll have to check them out!!!

I like leggings from J Crew. I don’t wear mine often usually just to run errands

Zella leggings are AMAZING. By far the most comfortable clothing I have ever owned. I wear them for casual or for working out. They’re sold at Nordstrom. Love love love.

My leggings from The Gap have actually held up super well. On the more expensive side, I like the leggings from Lucy (mostly because they come in long sizes) and they feel high quality.

summertime8 : Lululemon. Yes, they are a workout brand, but they making leggings that don’t necessarily look like “workout”. They have the best waistband (I like the High Rise Wunder Unders), they don’t have a seam down the outside leg, and I’ve had and worn mine for years.

Nordstrom Zella leggings are a gift from God.

When I first bought them, lulu’s were the best things I ever wore and totally worth the price. But then less than two months later the seams were coming out and the crotch was full of pilling. So you basically shouldn’t walk at all while wearing them if your thighs touch like a normal woman’s. Maybe I didn’t wash them correctly but if you aren’t looking to work out in them then they may work for you.
My zellas are great quality and have lasted forever but I’d recommend getting them high waisted. Mine aren’t and they constantly fall down and show crack when sitting lol.
I just ordered my first two pairs of leggings from Fabletics so I’ll let ya know how they are.

I know they are classified as “Active Wear”, but I have several black leggings from the section in Old Navy that I wear reguarly and several pairs I wear to the gym. I wash them, dry them, wear them all of the time, and in general, I’m not particularly careful with them and I find they hold up about 2 years for me. That’s pretty good for $20 dollar leggings. I also like that they are not see through on my butt!

Zella leggings are amazing, I hate fabletics as they all give me camel toe…Spanx leggings are good too, but pretty spendy

I love my leggings from JJill. They hold up extremely well and come in petites, cuz sometimes I really want ankle pants to stop at my ankle. lol.
Also, I found some amazing LLR knockoffs at Walmart. No Boundaries brand and they are like $6. Perfect for under a tunic/dress. I treat leggings like tights, not pants. 🙂

summertime8 : I love the 90 Degrees leggings. They’re extremely affordable, and have held up better than all of the other leggings I’ve ever bought (and I’m talking A LOT of leggings—I live in athleisure). They’re not that cheap, shiny material and they are totally squat-proof. They sell them in Marshall’s, on Amazon, and probably have a website somewhere out there on the world-wide-internets…check em out!
and if you’re looking for more of a “jegging”, Celebrity Pink has some great ones that are super stretchy and comfy. They’re also extremely affordable at <$25/pair.

azf0019 : The 90 Degrees leggings are my favorite as well! I bought a black pair of athletic wear leggings a few years ago for $20 at TJ Maxx and they are still in amazing shape. I highly recommend these!
