Excited To Bee : I used both pre-seed and another Amazon brand and ended up getting UTI’s after both. I never get UTI’s. So now I’m looking for an alternative and in the meantime going without during ovulation. Maybe I’ll try the coconut oil as the other ladies have suggested.

My RE actually recommended olive or canola oil. I could never convince myself to try it.

Excited To Bee : We used the preseed the first time we TTC but my husband didn’t like it, he said it was a little sticky. It took us 5 months to conceive. The second time we just used regular lube and it took us two cycles to get pregnant.

Another vote for preseed. We conceived on our first cycle trying and we were using preseed. I would only use a lubricant if you need it though.

Preseed is a great lube. Please don’t get it stuck in your head that it is “magic” lube. Its a good lube to use because it is sperm friendly. We used it for 5 cycles before getting pregnant. Another vote for don’t use the full recommended amount!

we used preseed for the first time and really liked it. Darling Husband had no idea it was anything other than normal lube lol. fingers crossed it helped us this month!

Preseed is definitely the most popular around here! But I’ve heard just to use it like regular lube and not bother trying to insert it with the applicator. We just used regular lube (it’s not like it’s a spermacide or anything!) and I got pregnant easily both times (my first was an oops so definitely was just using regular lube and my second I hadn’t gotten around to buying any preseed yet). I agree that preseed isn’t magic, it’s just more sperm friendly.
