I was in a wedding (bridesmaid) a while back and the makeup artist used Diorflash foundation.  Used a brush with it.  Very very nice.  Long lasting.  Made you look flawless.

Mac is great too.

Perfekt for your skin, philosophy concealer- there’s a palette with like three shades so you can hide any imperfection you may have, Sue Devitt clear powder to reduce shine, and NARS blush.

My favorite from my wedding day were faux lashes by Shu Umera. Super natural looking and totally stunningly beautiful.

A product I will use on all bridal clients is the Makeup Forever Mist and Fix. It’s great! You spray a mist over your entire face after all the makeup has been applied. It gives you a true "glowing" look, helps your makeup stay fresh throughout the day and evening, and even has a nice scent to it. Really though, natural "GLOW" is the best way I can describe it.

Here’s a link to the product through Sephora:

Primers are a must–they really help your makeup to go on smoothly and last long.  I recommend MAC or Laura Mercier for your face, MAC paint pot for your lids ("painterly" works well for me), and MAC lip primer for your, well, lips.

For foundation products, I love Laura Mercier.  If you have oily skin, especially–the oil free formula is wonderful.  The Secret Camoflauge is a MUST–it’ll cover blemishes, dark spots, red spots, anything, and will last forever.  The undereye concealor is also great, with a nice creamy consistency and great coverage.  However, for your wedding day, you should try Yves Saint Laurent Touche Eclat–it gives you a nice glow around your eyes.  I also use it right around my nostrils and the corners of my lips.

For eyes, I usually use MAC shadows.  I recommend fluidline eyeliner, applied with a thin angled brush.  It has a gel consistency, so it’s easier to control than liquid liner and far more precise and long-lasting than a pencil.  For lashes, falsies or, better yet, extensions are best, but if you don’t want to hassle with that, try Yves Saint Laurent Volume Effect Faux Cils (faux cils = false lashes).  It goes on well and gives you lots of volume and length.

For lips, I would use MAC primer, then liner, then lipstick, then maybe gloss.  It’s quite a process, but gives your lips multi-dimensional color and lasts longer.

In general, it may be a good idea to visit a counter (I recommend MAC), where they can teach you about eye shadow techniques.  However, be sure to try out other counters, too–LM for face and YSL for mascara and the Touche Eclat.

Good luck!

When it comes to pictures, all that needs to pop out are eyes, blush and lipstick. So above everything else, remember those three very important elements!

I would definitely use false lashes no matter what, to make the eyes pop. Nars has great blush, and try Sephora or MAC lipstick colors. Remember to re-apply throughout the day because you’ll be kissing the groom and eating and drinking!!
