Did the invitation say Best Man and Guest and Guest’s Guest?? Because if not, you have every right to call Best Man and let him know HE was the one invited and HE can only bring one guest.  You simply don’t have the room/budget/whatever excuse you want to throw out there to accomodate another person.

End of story!

Your wedding, your guests.  The Girlfriend has a plus one – the Best Man.  She doesn’t need another one.  I wouldn’t let that one slide.  Tell her that this other girl is not on your guest list and therefore is not invited.  End of story.

@alishaloo:  I think that’s completely reasonable.  If my husband was in a briday party, i wouldn’t think that I get a random plus one to entertain me.

Maybe, like you, the best man’s parents don’t like her either?

Wow, If I were the Bridesmaid or Best Man I would be super embarrased that my Girlfriend wouldn’t even let me attend a bachelor party alone – BOUNDARIES!!!

She sounds terrible, but dont’ worry about it and certainly don’t let her bother you on your wedding day.

@alishaloo:  I have never even heard of someone’s guest thinking they can also bring another friend. This girl needs a big smack…. of reality. or bridal fist. either one would make me happy
