sudafed?  I usually take the mucinex that has sudafed in it, but i’m not sure which kind you were taking.

@Barbiestylez:  Tylenol Cold works amazing for me! Symptoms totally gone. The only catch: It knocks me out COLD. Don’t know if it’s just me but if you take it, don’t drive or anything.

For sinus pain/congestion, I buy the generic sudafed and take it with advil. It’s like advil cold and sinus for way less money!

Don’t take sudafed or anything that ends in D. That’ll cause you to have the jitters if you’re sensitive like me.

I was also going to say neti pot neti pot NETI POT!. It does wonders to relieve sinus pressure, and if you use it throughout the cold, it helps ward off the nasty post nasal drip.  I get the squeeze bottle version.  I like that I can control flow better.  If you are at all hesitant because it is “weird and gross,” just stop that nonsense, and go get one!

The good cold medicine is behind the counter at the pharmacy. If you have nasal congestion, I recommend Afrin nasal spray. You can only use it for 3 days in a row, but it works wonders. Instant relief.
