Steroids thin/damage the skin permanently so be careful about using them regularly.

Love Jack Black Intense Therapy Lip Balm! Just the classic mint kind is amazing and goes on smoothly and soaks in nicely. It has an SPF 25 so it protects your lips throughout the day (you should have sun protection even on cloudy days) and at night it acts like an overnight lip mask!

Palmer’s cocoa butter is my absolute favorite! I keep a stick in my car, my night stand, my purse, my desk at work, etc… It’s so buttery and hydrating and not gooey. I’ll use it on my skin too not just my lips.

Rosebud Salve by rosebud perfume co! $7 at Sephora and it’s a godsend. In addition to a lip balm I use it on my cuticles and anywhere my skin is dry or irritated. It’s the only thing I’ve tried that doesn’t make you ‘addicted’…. where you have to put it on constantly or your lips feel worse than if you never used it at all.

I use Bag Balm! The consistency might bug you but it could be a good option overnight. They have the tub things and the little squeeze bottles. It’s the only thing that works for me.

Gotta mix it up, don’t just use the same product all day. I use at least 5 different lip moisturizers throughout the day. Here are some favourites:

Bite Agave (Bite products are *awesome*, been my favourite for the past 2 years):–daytime-lip-balm/2188761.html

Malin + Goetz (another awesome brand, least taste/smell of any lip product I’ve ever used):

Molton Brown Lipsaver:

Clarins Joli Rouge (it’s a lipstick but super moisturizing and unoffensive texture and smell):

Dr Hauschka lip care stick (hate the smell but the texture is ok and it works really well):

@Miss_Mae:  I very highly recommend Cortibalm!! I have severe chapped lips that I’m always picking at because I don’t like the way the dry flakes feel. I tried everything under the sun, including many the things listed here. When they didn’t work, I asked my dermatologist for advice and she recommended Cortibalm to me. It was something I never heard of before. She gave me some samples and said that any pharmacy should be able to order it in if they don’t already have it. It’s also on Amazon for pretty cheap. However, she recommended I only use it twice a day. At night before bed and in the morning because there is a steroid in it, so she doesn’t want me applying it throughout the day. It worked wonders!!! My lips are so much softer and just all around better looking!
