    @eeniebeans: And all the people (co-workers, odd strangers) who keep telling me that it will be “so hot” this summer need to STFU.  It will be hot no matter whether you are pregnant or not and there is this nifty invention called air conditioning.  I am happy to be pregnant in the summer because I think finding clothing is easier for warm weather.  Plus, I dont’ have to worry about getting to the hospital in a blizzard!

    Exactly. The ONLY people who I have actually listened to about being hot and pregnant in summer are women who actually did it. Hell, I’ve lived in GA all my life and I know it’s hot. Not like it’s gonna up and turn out to be a 72degree summer. *eyeroll*

    Plus..not like a woman can actually choose when she’ll be pregnant.

    not to be all annoying and positive, but you never know when you’ll be able to get pregnant, and i’m sure it wont matter to you at all once you find out! it’s like asking people if they like when their birthday is. of course they do, b/c it’s theirs! 😀 but all the same i’ve always dreamed of giving birth in fall so i have the holiday season to be with the baby (and not at work, haha!)…but i’ll take what i can get 🙂

    Update. I’m due July 22nd and yesterday I had my first horrible swollen feet experience. Literally, my shoes don’t fit and my ankles look and feel like they’re as big as my thighs. It’s gross and uncomfortable. If I had the choice, I would stick with a cooler month.

    I’m in FL so I wouldn’t be stuck inside for the winter like a lot of the others.

    I’d rather get pregnant in hot weather and have a baby in the winter.  Hah.

    @flamingred: Yep, I LOVE her stuff.  I’ve lived by her shop since I moved to NYC almost 4 years ago, so I always knew when I got pregnant Id go there (before the time of her show.)  Her stuff is AMAZING.  And I love that I can wear it all when Im done too.

    @OP – sorry to threadjack =o)
