I want to (finally) create a wedding album for my 5th wedding anniversary coming up next month! I’d like to use a website where I can upload my digital photo files, and they will create a good quality photo album for me. I would prefer a leather album cover, but other than that my only real criteria is that it be good, lasting quality. Any recommendations on a good site to use?
I’m also unsure whether I want to layout the photos myself or have someone do it professionally. If you created an album online, which route did you go and would you recommend it?

I used PikPerfect! I got a high quality lay flat album, I was able to upload my digital pictures and create different layouts, they also sent me multiple drafts which I was able to change until it was how I wanted, you could also add background graphics. I’m pretty sure they had options for leather bound as well. A bit on the pricey side I think I paid a little over $200 but worth it IMO

I used Snapfish, high quality album for the price, you got digital drafts and then it arrived in good speed. There were options for cloth or leather backing, along with matte or glossy prints. Made ours 5 years ago and all the prints look good still. I got to decide which photos, what words to add if I wanted words on that page and the site would make recommendations to the size of the photos if the quality wasn’t great or you’d got it from another source. I found it really easy to do and have used snapfish for other albums/calendars since then

I used shutterfly and I LOOOOVE mine! I didn’t use their feature where they design it for you, because I didn’t love how they did it. So I designed each page and pick the placement. I got a matte hardcover with a photo on it, 58 pages, and I got their deluxe layflat pages. I got it during a sale so I paid like $115 or so for it. Without the sale it would have been just over $200!
they also have the option of doing acrylic covers, and they have the flushmount style pages. but I wanted to save a little money so I didn’t do those. it it still stunning and amazing quality though! the deluxe lay flat pages are a little thicker than your normal pages, but not as thick as the flushmount kind. you can add as many pages as you want, they just charge more after a certain amount. and they almost ALWAYS have a sale going on.
